Updates! Updates!

Gosh it has been more than a month since I updated! Finally our broadband was activated by O2 this morning! =D However the speed is much slower than the Imperial network, but life without internet had really put me into an internet withdrawal symptom. Basically I was busy moving into my new house which is located 18min-walk away from Imperial College. And I LOVE my room really much! Learned to appreciate this new room much more after all the stuff I've gone through during my 1st year stay in the hall.

My study table, oh and by the way that's the lego i bought it last year. Didn't get a chance to build it so I just did few days ago.

2nd year life is going to be really hectic. My year started with Malaysian Freshers' Reception and Welcome Dinner at Holiday Villa.


Though this year the study groups have been replaced by classes and office hours, I found out that the course contents taught this year are much harder. Gotta be consistent in revision and assignments! By the way during the 2nd year we have to sign up for at least one Humanities/Language course, and I signed up for Music Technology! Basically we get to learn MIDI, sequencing, digital sound sampling, synthesis, hard disk recording, mixing and mastering to CD. In this course we are required to buy a pair of headphones for the course at the start of the term. Got myself this pair of Shure headphones.

And all in all I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the sound quality of this set of headphones! =D It's still going through its burn-in period. Click here to learn about burn-in.

Tomorrow's gonna be another enervating day - 9am to 5pm class with only an hour of break in between! Back to sleep and more updates coming soon! =)
